Ensure the timely reception and warm welcome of new Job Corps student arrivals by providing a well rounded and highly structured. Prepare each student for successful participation in the Career Development Services System by providing an introduction to Job Corps Center Staff and the roles they play in student's long-term outcomes.


A Bachelor Degree preferably with a concentration in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related Educational field. Instructional experience and/or Job Corps or related experience working with disadvantaged youth is preferred.


An Associate Degree with a concentration in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related Educational field and two years of demonstrated vocational, counseling, or educational experience.



Skills and Abilities:

n    Effective verbal and written communication skills

n    Effective organizational skills

n     Effective interpersonal skills

n     Ability to interpret data and analyze its use within educational programs

n     Proficient with computers, computer processing, Internet and computer assisted training


Licenses or


                                      n       A valid Regular Driver License is required.
